The existing Care Centre services the Free State and surrounding areas. About 150 mentally disabled people are cared for here. A need for single units arose as some people can stay partly independent (under supervision). Right next to the existing Centre a link will be made to these independent units as meals will still be eaten at the existing complex. A village concept (Kevin Lynch) were designed to form a cohesive development. Colour will be introduced for easy orientation.
