Image County is situated in a dramatic setting next to a lake amongst the Maluti Mountains in the Clarens district. The project consists of the main house for the owner, a cottage for the farm manager, the stables for 15 saddle horses including offices, a fodder shed and a training circuit for horses with carts. The layout of the estate with hundreds of pin oaks and horse trails was also part of the assignment. The client wanted a traditional architectural approach on the estate.
